This event will be hosted by an Independent Promoter. Please contact the American Museum of Fly Fishing at amff@amff.org or 802-362-3300 for all communication concerning this event.
An outdoor screening of the Fly Fishing Film Tour will be presented by Orvis on the beautiful grounds of the American Museum of Fly Fishing in Manchester, VT, situated just minutes from the historic Battenkill. The stories span the globe from the remote wilds of Eastern Russia to the Guyana rainforest, the flats of French Polynesia, and all the way to Utah’s Flaming Gorge and the downhome waters of Wisconsin. Our own extraordinary film, Mighty Waters, tells the compelling tale of Bimini bonefish guide Ansil Saunders and his time on the water with Martin Luther King, Jr.
We’ll welcome guests beginning at 7:00 PM and the film will begin at 7:30 PM. Complimentary admission to the museum will be available throughout the evening on Thursday, September 2. Bring your chair or blanket and enjoy a selection of snacks and curated beer and wine from The Crooked Ram. Raffle tickets will be available for sale in support of AMFF’s programs and mission. Raffle prizes include an Orvis Helios rod, sling pack, and carry-it-all-bag and more!
Tickets are $25 each at amff.org. Free parking next door in the Orvis Flagship lot.
Movie is 3 hrs long, which includes intermission.
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for 9/1, and has been re-scheduled for 9/2 due to weather.
